Over 70 years ago Dr. William Feinbloom founded Designs for Vision in the back of a small doctor's office in Buffalo, New York. The mission of the company was, through research and development, to help Surgeons and Dentists all over the world to realize their full potential through better vision. Today, over one hundred thousand of Designs for Vision's specialized optical Loupes and Headlights are in use by Surgeons and Dentists on a daily basis. The company now has over 70 offices or distributors worldwide. Dr. Feinbloom's vision for his company has certainly been realized. Designs for Vision continues today its mission of applying optical research and design to optical products to help people see better. The precision optical research and manufacturing done by Designs for Vision is amongst the most sophisticated in the world. The Company also does additional research for major companies such as ITT (Night Vision) and Hitachi (MRI Optical Lighting).
